Homicide
North of 32nd Street & Cloud Road
Hahlen was found dead near 32nd Street and Cloud Road. MCSO opened a homicide investigation, and later reporting states the medical examiner ruled her death a homicide. Her family was still seeking answers two years later.
5500 block of E. Seven Palms Lane (private residence generalized)
Polgar was found dead after firefighters responded to a house fire in Cave Creek. The Maricopa County Attorney reported that Justin Lunsford pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and arson and was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
These surfaced during research but are not being counted as municipal murders until location, legal classification, or both are sufficiently verified.

Scott Dozier was convicted of second-degree murder for killing Greene, but available reporting places the pair at a trailer off Carefree Highway rather than giving a municipal address. This stays out of the Cave Creek and Carefree core counts until the incident location is confirmed inside one town.
Some historical reporting described the shooting as occurring at a Cave Creek bar, but current Silent Witness material places the case at 1732 W. Bell Road in Phoenix. It is excluded from the Cave Creek municipal directory.
Reporting says the crime occurred near Carefree Highway and 7th Street, described as near Cave Creek, but this is not treated as a Town of Cave Creek case in the first-pass municipal ledger.
Cave Creek, Carefree, Phoenix, Scottsdale and unincorporated Maricopa County share postal labels and roads. The Town of Cave Creek itself warns that an 85331 mailing address does not prove a property is within Cave Creek town limits.
